Mifflin Guard Preservation Efforts

Fort Mifflin

Our first, longest running, and probably best overall effort to date. Mifflin Guard Volunteers have helped renovate this historic fort to it's present state.

You can visit Fort Mifflin on most any weekend, but be there in October for the Mifflin Guard's own Garrison Day. Federal units wishing to participate in this great living history are very welcome. If your unit may be interested in attending, contact Doug Fieldhouse by email or the Mifflin Guard adjutant:

The Grand Army Of The Republic Museum

The 28th Pennsylvania has done an outstanding job in getting this neglected treasure some much needed attention. The annual Neshaminy event benefits this excellent and worthy cause. Vist the museum soon!
